Mundlimup Forest ECOCIDE.

This is the sort of forest we are trying to save. Amongst other things, it is the habitat of the threatened Red -Tailed Black Cockatoos. It is astonishing to think that anybody would want to destroy something so beautiful. I call it ECOCIDE. SAVE OUR JARRAH! Please take a look at www.saveourjarrah.com.au

This photograph was taken about 1 kilometre from the Post Office in Jarrahdale. I must not mention names, but I know that several DEC workers are very unhappy about the logging being carried out so close to the Heritage Town of Jarrahdale. Yes, you heard it right - Jarrahdale is listed as a HERITAGE TOWN. So why would anyone in his right mind want to interfere with such a lovely environment? There's a word for this wretched devastation - ECOCIDE. Mister Terry Redman: it's OUR Forest ... and YOUR ARSE on the line, mate! And you can save both YOUR ARSE, and OUR Forest by putting a stop to this foolishness immediately! Minister, do you really want to go down in history as the man who failed to save the Mundlimup Forest for future generations? Think about it, mate ... are you hanging your head in shame?

I meant to say "Minister Terry Redman" ... not Mister ... but I guess, Minister, you can live with that. But, Minister, could you live comfortably with the slur of being known as the man who didn't care enough to preserve this wondrous and unique Forest for future generations?
C'mon now, Minister ... don't let us all down ... show us that you care. Go on ...

Destroying this beautiful, unique and valuable carbon SINK could eventually SINK the Barnett Government. You don't believe me? Just THINK about this SINK. BLINK ... and it's gone! Then the people would kick up a STINK! Premier Barnett, please stop this ECOCIDE immediately ... or your Government will ... you know what ...

The Forest Rescue team are fronting up on Monday, November 16th, 2009. Anyone who wants to put a stop to this ecocide in Mundlimup Forest(Jarrahdale) is welcome to come along and visit or stay at the Day property in Stirlingia Road, Jarrahdale (it's about 3 or 4 kilometres from the post office). Bring camping gear, food, musical instruments, etc. There's a communal kitchen being set up ($5 a day) and composting toilets are also going to be organised. A lovely load of manure has already been delivered ... not to throw over Minister Terry Redman ... no! ... it's to start a lovely vegie garden. Our thanks to Gordon Day for allowing Forest Rescue to set up on their property. Good on ya Gordon! Three cheers for Gordon!
